What do the ingredients do?

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Dulcis): This gentle oil contains Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Omega-3 fatty acid and Zinc. It prevents premature aging and has the ability to stimulate the production of new skin cells and smooth fine lines. Its antioxidant properties help reverse sun damage and reduce the appearance of scars. Because almond oil is an anti-inflammatory, it may also help ease swelling of the skin.

 

Sunflower seed oil (H.annuus): Sunflower oil is hugely soothing and helps skin irritation — not just dry skin, but chronic acne and eczema as well. This oil has a comedogenic rating of 0, which means it doesn’t clog pores. It exhibits antioxidant and photoprotective activities that are associated with the presence of tocopherols, flavonoids, and phenolic acids.  It is characterized by its high content in amino acids, tocopherols (namely α-tocopherol), flavonoids, phenolic acids and fatty acids. Several medicinal applications, such as antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory activities, and wound-healing properties are attributed to this oil. Naturally occurring α-tocopherol, or vitamin E, is a fat-soluble antioxidant vitamin that confers protection against free radical damage. 

 

BIO Bourbon Geranium essential oil (Pelargonium graveolens): This is a 100% natural and pure oil originating from Madagascar from organic farming and is distilled by steam distillation.
