The health benefits of ginger and turmeric are well know with their anti-inflammatory properties among others. Turmeric also helps our body digest fats and reduces gas and bloating.
Preparation: 10 minutes
2 cups of organic unsweetened almond milk
1 piece of fresh turmeric, peeled & grated (about the size of your little finger)
1 piece of fresh ginger, peeled & grated (about the size of your little finger)
1 teaspoon of organic almond butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon organic maple syrup (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. To cut back on sugar, you can leave out the maple syrup.
Pour into a pot and heat it up.
Serve with more cinnamon on top
