Most of the treats are healthier options than the traditional desserts you might be used to. Some are gluten free, some are vegan and most are sweetened with natural sugars like fruits, honey and maple syrup. There are quite a few recipes with coconut oil, which has a higher saturated fat content. If you suffer from heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure or are obese limit the amount of coconut oil and replace it with olive oil. And remember - these are still all treats and not daily indulgences.
