Spiced pineapple with ice cream

Preparation: 10 minutes

Cooking: 5 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of fresh pineapple

  • 1 tablespoon organic butter

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream

Method:

  • Cut the skin off a whole pineapple, cut into slices and cut out the stem in the middle.

  • Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat, add the pineapple slices and season with fresh pepper.

  • Lightly fry the pineapples for a few minutes each side until golden. 

  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle and grind some more pepper over it.
