Hummus

Easy to make and a perfect crowd pleaser - just cut up a variety of vegetables to go with it.

Hummus

Preparation: 10 minutes

Serves:  8


Ingredients:


  • 1 can chickpeas

  • ½ cup tahini (sesame seed paste)

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1/3 cup lemon juice

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper


Method:


  • Drain the chickpeas

  • In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini paste, garlic, lemon juice and seasonings.

  • Process, adding enough water to make a smooth consistency.
