Guacamole
Guacamole is always a hit when you have people over. You can also try different ingredients like cilantro, garlic or add spices for variety.
Preparation: 10 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1 avocado
½ lemon
½ red onion, finely diced
1 ripe tomato, finely diced
Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Method:
Mash the avocado, squeeze the lemon over it.
Mix in the diced onions, tomato and parsley.
Season with salt & pepper to your taste.
Use cayenne pepper to give it a bit of a spicy kick if you like.
Serve with a variety of cut veggies (carrots, celery, cucumber, capsicums …)
