Cabbage salad

Cabbage is a cruciferous vegetable said to prevent cancer, lower the risk of heart disease and help protect against radiation.

Serves: 2 - 4


Ingredients:


  • 1/4 cabbage, finely sliced

  • 1/2 red onion, finely sliced

  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds

  • 1 teaspoon hot chili flakes (optional)

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • Salt & pepper to season


Method:


Mix everything together, squeeze the lemon over it and season with salt & pepper to taste.
