Quinoa is a seed from a flowering plant in the amaranth family. It is gluten-free, high in protein and one of the few plant foods that contain all the 9 essential amino acids. It's high in fiber, magnesium, B vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and antioxidants.

Love this simple stir-fry. Instead of using capsicum like in this recipe, you can use any veggies you have. 

A different take on the Pad Thai - with a tofu mixture.

Bulgur wheat is used extensively in Middle Eastern cooking and not only has a low GI but is delicious and takes only minutes to prepare. 

This is a very simple recipe that is quick to prepare and never fails to taste delicious.
