The acai berry is a reddish-purple fruit that comes from the acai palm tree, which is native to Central and South America. It is very rich in antioxidants.
Preparation: 5 minutes
1 pack frozen acai (or about 15 g of acai powder)
½ frozen banana
½ - ¾ cup berries (fresh or frozen)
1/3 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon sunflower seeds (or any seed you like)
Chopped or sliced almonds
½ banana, sliced
Mix all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. If it’s too thick, just add more almond milk.
Add your toppings (you can add any fruit, nuts, seeds or granola)
